Due to inclement weather, the live carving of the giants and the ribbon cutting ceremony scheduled for Thursday evening will be postponed until Friday. One blocks will be placed on Friday morning, with carving in the afternoon.

“Icing on the Cake” decorating contest on Saturday! Free pieces of cake after the fireworks on Saturday evening! Located in the Woods Center (above the Capitol Theatre).

Ice Blocks!

The committee has confirmed 64 ice blocks have been sponsored for the sidewalks of downtown Chambersburg! Seven giant sculptures will be placed around the downtown square! Penny Shaul, chair of IceFest 2012 commented, “We are thrilled with the support for this year’s 10th Anniversary! We are excited for the public to join us at the end of the month!”
